The Back Story

“A Tribute to Mother” is a song that I wrote for my mom several years ago. Things were not always easy growing up in a big family, and mom was always the one who went without if there wasn’t enough. It is easy to take her sacrifices for granted when you are younger, but in later years that is something we remember in our hearts. I wanted to express how much I appreciated the mom that she was to her 7 kids, and this is how it came out.

I gave a copy of the song to mom on Mother’s day several years ago, but then at her 70th Birthday I sang it for her on behalf of her kids. It had touched her heart as I had hoped it would. Nobody takes the place of our moms!

My mom has been gone for a number of years now, but I felt this year to make it available to others to send to their moms so they know before they are gone, how much a mother’s love means to her children.

We are hoping that you will go to the e-card page and send this video e-card along with a special note to your mom this Mother’s Day. Perhaps, this song will touch your mom’s heart as it did mine. Our prayer is that she will know how special that she is and of course this is just the perfect day to let her know!!
